Slow Food Projects
Slow Food South Africa is the local chapter of the global grassroots movement, Slow Food International.
The joint actions of our local Food Communities and the International Biodiversity Foundation projects we support, aim to challenge the destructive effects of the industrial food system.
We intend to achieve cultural, social and economic equity and sustainable environmental benefits for our planet and all that is dependent on it.

We are the movement for the next generation of leaders who seek to live in a world where food is truly good, clean and fair for all. Our work covers a variety of topics, including issues like food waste, climate change, policy, and social injustice.
